Built on the site of the old Atlantic Steel Mill. By the late ‘90s that mill was falling down and looked like a relic of the ‘30s. I tried to buy a house in that area before Atlantic Station was built, thinking to flip it in a couple of years. There was one real estate agent who had a lock on the neighborhood, and she refused to talk to my real estate agent, or any other agent. A house would have been a good short term investment, but looks like the feral yutes have ruined the neighborhood, like some other areas of Atlanta.
