How much more? None. I’ve been saying the same thing since I started posting here.
Took the rest of you long enough to catch up... Jeez... I’m not THAT smart.

You can find Glock mags that hold up to 31 rounds. Wouldn't surprise me at all to find someone had a 50rnd out there somewhere.
With a ported barrel, and wrists that aren't better suited for piano playing or holding a tea cup, you can keep a G18 on a man sized target with a bit of practice.

Converting 1022 rifles to full auto with open bolt is easy, though a silly waste of ammo. You have to destroy the firing pin/bolt to do it, and alter the trigger mechanism irredeemably.

A machine pistol would be an nice conversation piece and a must for the guy that has everything, but in practical terms I see them as worthless in a gun fight. Even with an extremely strong grip on the weapon the bullets would be flying all over the place. With a weak grip, the ceiling would be filled with holes.

M1 is a lot easier... Shoe string with loops tied on either end... Someone even registered one as an NFA item. Has a tax stamp serial tag on it.
Keep it legal kids... Unless you are ready to have that Thin Blue Line turn into a Thick Blue Wall falling on you.

That is not a picture of a M1.
That is a picture of a Ruger Mini-14

Works on the M1 and M1-A as well. Actions are similar. In fact, a similar arrangement will also work on SKS and AK variants as well.
Point of my post was pointing out the "string as the registered machine gun under NFA", not so much the rifle and why the NFA regs are unConstitutional and stupid.
