Maradona had a subdural hematoma - brain trouble. I think that was all of the cocaine.

Not sure I would classify as the worlds greatest sport. Way out here in Oklahoma, we call soccer players “Foot Fairies”

Saw G. Best when he played for Man U. (on TV)
Pele I also saw in person at the Meadowlands when he played for the Cosmos.

Yeah, I think you are right. Jimmy Johnson would have helped any team.
Funnily enough, I was there when ManU v Celtic opened the new Seahawk stadium up in Seattle.
The lady in front turned to me and asked why does everyone boo when No. 10 touches the ball. I told her that the crowd wasn't booing but paying tribute to Ruud van Nistelrooy. Ruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuud!

Soccer is normally like watching paint dry. Maradona made it exciting.

They all cheated in the 80s. The idea was that if you're not cheating then you're not trying.
Vinne Jones was not booked for this famous event below because there were no digital technology and high definition video at that time, which meant referees didn't see half the things that are going on.

They (Germans) bring engineering to soccer, perfectly crafted moves. I thought they brought Philosophy to soccer....

Shame on me. I misspelled his name. Jimmy Johnstone, not Jimmy Johnson.
Sorry 'bout that.

I recall how the Italians adored him when he was playing for Napoli.
