My TCM copy of UNCONQUERED with Gary Cooper also has such a PC warning. It is meant to remind the viewer that the Indians were not as brutal as shown in this movie.
BUT, if you read Francis Parkman’s CONSPIRACY OF PONTIAC you will find the really were that brutal!

I just noticed that today at the start of each program today on Decades. How long before they start constantly popping up their leftist warning throughout a show?
