Certainly every one that can and loves this country votes this week if possible and next Tuesday for sure. Don’t lose this election because of complacency nor waiting until the last minute. The lines will be long, slow and never trust Democrat shenanigans.

I hope blacks have woken up. I have heard this every election and it has never cracked 8%. Black women seem to universally despise Trump, and they seem to be voting in force to replace him. I am cautiously optimistic though, but if Trump gets 8% again despite all Trump is doing, I think I will declare them a hopeless cause

You misunderstand. I am not talking about raw vote numbers. I am talking about the percentage of the electorate. Democrats are below the percentage that they need in every state listed. And the black percentages will drop every day as Republicans, who are 98% non-black, will dominate the final days of voting.

The magic number assumes that Blacks as a whole vote as a block and have not escaped the plantation. But the fact that Trump has done more for Blacks as a Republican than the Democrat party of Jim Crow and Slavery has opened a few eyes.

I seriously doubt that Black are voting anywhere near their old percentages for the Democrats now.

So is there a legal gun owner in Virginia who won’t vote or won’t vote for Trump? I doubt it. I also think it is perfectly reasonable that Trump will pull 15% of the black vote and if that were to hold up everywhere there are even more states in play.

My rationale from 10/6/20:

I have seen many people stating that there’s no way Pres. Trump can win VA, that’s it’s “deep blue” or other such comments. I find such opinions misinformed at best. In 2016 Trump lost VA by 4.9 points, with Gov/Sen Tim Kaine on the Dem ticket. Johnson earned 3.0% of the vote, while McMullin took another 1.4%. Stein only took 0.7%, presumably from Clinton. For simplicity’s sake, presume all GOP votes go to Trump and all lib votes go to Biden. Suddenly that 4.9-point deficit becomes only 1.2 points. 4.9 minus Johnson/McMullin (3.0+1.4) = 0.5, add on Stein’s 0.7 = 1.2. A much more manageable deficit, even if northern VA is blue.

And neither Biden nor Harris are from VA. I was encouraged by Trump’s visit to Newport News. He was trying to help Scott Taylor (VA-02) and Nick Freitas (VA-07) flip a couple of House seats to take the gavel away from Pelosi. If the Trump campaign made a real play (read: $$) for VA’s votes, I’m confident he’d win. But since he doesn’t need VA’s 13 votes to win re-election, I’m not sure if VA ultimately falls into his column. By the way, US Army LTC Daniel Gade is the Republican trying to take Mark Warner’s Senate seat away from him.

I think Trump is very likely to flip NH, NV and MN. Maine’s 2 state electoral votes are looking good, too. CO, VA and NM remain to be seen.
