I think that you have answered your own question.
I think it’s real, it can affect some people badly, it’s fading in its virulence, it was manufactured or tweeked, was released, intentionally or not, and has been politicized far beyond any justification.

Much of the MSM was ignoring it until Trump shut down travel from China. Then he was a racist and you were all supposed to go party in Chinatown. Then 10,000 people in NYC died and moonbat mayors started locking everything down. When Trump called them moonbats, the press really started playing up the pandemic.
