Harvey Korman, Mel Brooks, and Tina Louise? In one scene?

Talk about a trifecta.

If Dawn Welles had been in the shot I could just stop work for the day.

Nice tagline. I don’t still have the socks I wore in high school.

I tend to be hard on socks.

When I wear them.

But we wore them in high school.

And now the song “Kodachrome” is stuck in my head. Go figure.

Reward yourself for being a good person! Actually, I’m with you. Half the fun is the anticipation!

Yes, the tour books won’t be tossed aside. There is always something to be learned from books, even if we don’t have a real interest in the subject matter. Sometimes, just riffling through the pages will provide me with a gem I had never considered.

Yeah, well, the tagline was on FB and totally irresistible to me for some odd reason. We girls had to wear nylons in high (Catholic) school, but when I went to public school, it was socks again. Though saddle oxfords were my shoe of choice, they were deemed “too expensive” to buy. I see Amazon sells them now, so perhaps my next pair of grunge (not church) shoes will be saddle shoes instead of Sketchers. ;o]

Yeah, that song went through my head a few days ago. You’re welcome.

I had to buy “Blazing Saddles” before the censorship fanatics start frothing at the mouth at the old stuff.

Some days, you just have to make sure you’re ahead.

Catholic high school?

Do black patent-leather shoes really reflect up?

I’ll take the set out of the outer box soon.

Don’t know about that. I never had any. I was there on a scholarship. :o]

Slowly, slowly... just a few inches a day... Don’t do too much at once. Let the anticipation last. And don’t forget to take photos! Step-by-step! From outer box to floor...then wait... then the inner box... then wait...

You know: Like my packing. ;o]) Maybe by Saturday, you can open the bag of Lego Peeps! (Or are they Weebles?)

Vlad has made meatballs and a corn dish. With help.

I knew that. My bad. ;o]

I want a corn something. But I can’t cook or mix or serve. I buy an occasional frozen meal but I’m always so disappointed in them. Too spicy or too bland, so salty or the wrong combination of ingredients — I could lose a lot of weight if I kept this up.

I’d love to go to Rooster Run, but it’s probably not going to happen. They’re open at 0700 now, so it would be nice to go in and check out their menu.

I’ve run out of steam all of a sudden. It must be time to head down the hall. But it seems to be almost an hour too early! Oh noes!

Aww...look! A Baby Yoda!

Good morning.

Sleep was solid for two hours at a time, as usual.

The pics of the Lego box were ¡Estupendo! So exciting!

In other news, in all that talking about CFIDS, the one thing I didn’t mention is that it’s considered a “hidden disability” and as such I look “normal,” and that’s why I say it’s “insidious.”

Anyway, Cousin Doug has agreed to acquiesce to my request, so all is good. He’ll be here Monday morning.

I’m glad your cousin is prepared to be considerate regarding his visit!

And good morning. I have to go to Walmart again today, and then I have another Zoom meeting in the evening. So it’s like a repeat of yesterday.

Vlad wants to go to Your Local Game Store tomorrow, so that will be a novelty.

I’m relieved that the cousin has agreed. I don’t need a disturbance in the force at this time, but if it has to happen, I want it to happen on my terms.

I was hoping to get the kitchen finished yesterday, but had to go with Plan B, which was filing. I would like to get the kitchen finished today, but will go with Plan C which is sorting and filing Other Things, as well as shredding. One more basketful and the bag of shreds goes out to the dumpster and then I can (hopefully) call a halt to it until I get moved to Dogpatch, USA.

I do have one errand to run, but I should be done with whatever my stamina will allow by then.

Now, I’m going to make my bed and say my morning prayer. By then, it will be getting light out and perhaps the morphine will kick in and I can give it heck!

Rumor has it that Disney+ has scrapped its plans to do a series on baby Jar-Jar.
