When we were stationed in Germany, I began to read everything I could about the country and the people, and then that led to Hitler, the Great War, then Stalin and Lenin, Marx and Engels. And there is nothing in this world that puts fear into my heart than what I see happening in America today.
The Left has dumbed down the students from the time they enter kindergarten until they graduate and it’s designed with one thing in mind: To indoctrinate them into communism, gradually, with an agenda that’s been in place for over 150 years. But don’t get me started.
I feel like Schultz — I know nothing. I see nothing.
It’s because I voted last week and my vote was counted yesterday.

After the Northridge Quake, those of us living in NV saw a hugh influx of Californicators move in, but the odd thing was that most of those came from NY/NJ. They are the reason NV began to go Blue. Now of course the economy of CA has moved a lot more of them to Vegas. I’m really glad I moved away when I did!

The shower felt very nice, but didn’t do much to infuse any energy. It’s a good thing there is only one place to go for a few minutes today — Walgreen’s. They keep nagging me to pick up another inhaler. *sigh*
I’d like to be there to see Jake and his howling fun. I need some humor. :o]
Jake has staked out my bed until Sunbeams arrive. I took the opportunity to put his purple plush dinglebob blanket in the wash.

At least he’s not disloyal, like Shannon. Humph. All very triggering, you know.
Well, Shannon is a feline of the female persuasion and Jake is all guy and a mile wide. He knows who to sleep with to get his food... ;o]
I need to get a card written (no frogs, this time) so I can walk over to get my mail. The gal from Walmart is supposed to come and get the freezer this morning, but I haven’t heard from her so it may be next week. She gets off work at 0700 and the only time Walmart is open before that is Tuesday. I have her phone number and she is on FB but she doesn’t answer my text messages and blames it all on the phone. So we’ll see...
People can be really annoying. I’m going to check on the laundry (and Jake) and then go outside for some sunshine before the school day really gets going.
I was listening to Jonah Goldberg talking with a specialist in dog genetics, but I can get back to it.
It seems, whether they are leaving Somalia or India or NY or CA, people go someplace better than where they were, then start to make the new place like the old place they left.
I have no idea why they do that.

Election day is beginning to look like election month. Oh, well.

Show up. Sign your name after presenting ID. Cast your anonymous ballot. Dip your finger in ink. One single day of voting.
If she doesn’t come for it by this time next week, I’ll put it on FB Marketplace and she can do what she needs to do. She asked me if it had a lock on it. Why would I need a lock on a freezer I keep indoors? GAH!
Anyway, it will sell in a heartbeat on the marketplace because it’s local.
Having been in the military/aerospace for so long, it doesn’t matter where I am, the inside of my house is “home” and it goes with me wherever in the world I am. I don’t have to make the outside like where I left because there is no comparison to the good ol’ US of A.
