Packing is always a trial.
I’m glad you saw something pretty!
I’m going to go back and take some photos, but not today. I’ll send you some...its not even a mile from here. ;o]
w00t!
Back in the saddle. ;)
Thanks. It wasn’t intentional, in spite of what the neighbors think.
Nobody is complaining. It’s your gift.
Nobody is complaining. It’s your gift.
Yes, :wipes forehead with forearm: its a dirty job, but someone has to do it. :gives plaintive sigh:
:curtsy: And now, fans, though it’s WAY too early I fear I may fall asleep where I sit and bonk my head so I’m off to take an extended nap. Maybe it will last ten or so hours. I hope.
I hope you have a good, long nap.
Thanks!
I think I managed a total of 11 hours, but since I was literally falling asleep in my chair, and jerking myself awake, that isn’t surprising.
I’m trying to readjust my sleep habits, but I don’t know how or if that will work.
For now, all of my joints are stiff and not willing to work because I slept for so long at a time. So I’ll go take my pills, have some breakfast and then take a shower and with luck, the joints will have limbered up by the time I get back here. ;o]
Maybe.
Dis is Mai Fry Day, so don’ mess wif it!
Good morning.
The shower has been had. Next up is the weekly letter to Charlie. I missed his birthday, and will have to make sure I send him a little spending money via Walmart card in his Christmas card. I can’t tell you how awful I feel about missing that important day for him. My heart hurts.
I got woken up by the FedEx man bringing me a Gizmo, so as soon as it is fully charged, I’ll set it into “Useful” mode. *happy dance*
Nothing from Cabot, at either address, so the wait is still going on. But the weekend is coming, and I’ll hear from one of them for sure. :o|
Every time I get the kitchen clean and vow to keep it that way, I get some wild hair about making fruitcake or meals to freeze and there goes my clean-but-box-cluttered kitchen. I guess the answer to that is to pack everything in there and that way, I can’t make any more messes.
Good morning. I could take a shower. Our water bill went up more than 50% last month, so I’ve threatened everyone with Terrible Consequences if they don’t get out of the shower a lot faster.
That reminds me that DP’s birthday is coming up. I need to get him a card.
Oh, crikey! More than 50%??
Teenaged boys! Start charging them. Divide the water bill among them (yours, DP’s and Kathleen’s being separate, of course,) and charge them for their water usage.
I should probably go make the bed, but I don’t feel up to it right now.
The rest of the day will be spent. Some of it here, which is needful for me, as it’s the only time I socialize with folks, and has been for a long, long time. Twenty-plus years.
Hey! Hooman! It’s Friday!!!
Happy Friday.
I’ll be around this morning. We’ll leave about 11:30 for Envirothon. It’s the last meeting of the year, so in addition to Current Environmental Issues, there will be snacks and a gift exchange. We’re taking fruit salad.
Pat is off work today, so he will come, too, though not drive because too many people are going to fit in the Avalon. Pat told me he has gained a reputation in his job for knowing where things are and how to fit the optimal array of items in the available space. I predicted this.
Years ago, when we were doing the World War II study run by Homer_J_Simpson, there was a little item in the NYT saying that the Army had reclassified people with OCD as well as several other disorders from 4-F to, “You’re drafted!” I said, “Patrick just went from a reject to “that weird little guy who figured out how to load the ship for optimal efficiency when we unload in Europe ... you know, the one with the funny look in his eyes who mumbles to himself in Greek.”
Happy Friday all over our time zone!
Sorry, I couldn't find a bigger version.
We don’t have a separate hot and cold connection like that, but we can shut the water off completely using a lever in the garage. It’s been done, especially when Bill was at home.
That’s odd. Water must flow into and out-of the heater. Does it just not have a shut-off valve? That would mean you have to shut of water to the entire house to do heater repair.
Maybe it would be worth a few bucks to put one in on the heater inflow.
YEs, it’s Friday, but it’s the Kitteh’s Friday and it said so!
Good Friday morning! I know it’s a bit early, but I hope your weekend goes well. (I also hope I didn’t jinx it by saying that!)
