Pretty much everyone non-medical thinks that the nose goes “up”.
It doesn’t the nose goes “back”.
If you do happen to push “up” instead of “back” this is what you get. My guess is that whoever did the test was unaware of this.

I have explicitly avoided a test because I have no idea how well trained or conscientious my test tech might be.
There is also the sterility issue - any lapse or accident can result in dangerous substances or pathogens being deposited one inch from my brain.
Blood test? Saliva test? No problem.
Pushing a sharp stick one inch from my brain?
I’ll pass.
