Are their ammo and guns that bad? How does a gun and ammo manufacture lose money in this gun market? Or is due to mismanagement?

My guess it’s due to mismanagement. I had several Remington rifles until I lost them in a boating accident. They were very well made and accurate. Same thing with Remington ammo.

As far as guns are concerned. Savage is far better and at a cheaper price.
