If I thought it wasn’t ok for her to mention this, I wouldn’t have posted it.

It is simply my opinion (which is worth exactly what was paid for it) that actively putting Palin on the campaign trail would be counterproductive to attracting mushy middle voters. The ‘crawl over broken glass to vote for Trump’ voters don’t need to be convinced to vote for Trump.

She was a supporter of Trump in 2016 but that didn’t translate into any position so I assume that she’ll mostly remain on the sidelines.

Agreed. I suspect most of her contribution will be online. She’s a grandma now, plus Trig is almost a teenager.

Her Facebook page is mostly reposts of news articles and political cartoons; this is the first original content I’ve see there in awhile.

Many years ago now Sarah Palin was mocked when commenting that you could see Russia from Alaska.

Sarah Palin was correct.

Just south of the Arctic Circle, in the Bering Strait, are two islands. They are quite near each other and are on opposite sides of the International Date Line.

"Big Diomede Island" is Russian territory off the Chukchi Peninsula. "Little Diomede Island" is American territory off the Seward Peninsula.

Standing on Little Diomede (America) and given clear weather, you can easily see Big Diomede (Russia).

So much for MSM "fact checking."

“... Sarah Palin was mocked when commenting that you could see Russia from Alaska ...”
-
In an interview, Charles Gibson asked her what insight she had gained from living so close to Russia, and she responded:
“They’re our next-door neighbors, and you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska, from an island in Alaska”

In a skit Saturday Night Live, Tina Fey said “I can see Russia from my house.”
