I understand what you’re saying.
Hope hes not dead - but less than thrilled we have people like him in the army.
Thanks a whole lot, Obama

Sodomy is the fastest growing sexual assault category in the military. Thank you Obama!
I though he might have been slipped a micky then raped.
There are limitations of course and I completely support height requirements for different jobs. Once upon a time you had to be 5’10” to be in the military police. The Russians on the other hand tucked all of their shorter guys into their tanks!
Had to be short to be an astronaut, too, once upon a time.
Gotcha.
I got handed a NDSM when I got back from Desert Storm, along with a couple other “I was theres”.
Definitely Obama made thing a disaster all over. CIA/FBI. Judges. Too mane a few.
Speaking of armor, a guy that size would make a great tank crewman.
I hope the young man is found safe. What a dreadful situation.
I’m 5’4”, 128 lbs. as of today. I saw Audie Murphy’s uniform in a museum. He was a lot smaller than I am. So was Civil War General Joe Wheeler, whose uniform I saw in the Museum of the Confederacy in Richmond.
I would like everyone who is suggesting that the missing young soldier’s height and weight are a “vice” to have to live on the diet of a Depression farm kid. See if you live, Big Man.

Are you aiming this comment at me?
I get people in every day with GED's and never have I ever heard of any requirement for 15 hours of college.
When I enlisted in the USMC I weighed 107 pounds. After graduation and AIT Id packed on almost 25 pounds of solid muscle.
Sure wish I had that body today.
So does Mrs L.

Louisiana. Sorry, I’ve been busy all day.
Also, I got all the way through the MEPS process and was about to sign the papers when they “realized” I had a GED, if that helps.
Went to college for 3.5 years, 2 for welding and another year and a half for automotive mechanics. The army lists it as 14.3 total.
I figured since I’m a Louisiana white boy, I was probably the wrong color for my black recruiter and black meps physicians. It’s Louisiana, remember.
No, I did not aim that at you. I was agreeing with what I understood to be your point, about great soldiers of small stature. The second part was shotgunned at a variety of posts that implied or outright stated that being short was “unmanly.”
Sorry about not being clear.
