“If she’s short of breath she should get a chest X-ray.”

This way, she can get lung cancer, duh.

Never go to an ER. They kill people there.

Yes, one CXR is certain to give her lung cancer.

Thank you for this...this is exactly what she experienced when she went to the hospital today...at home her range was 88-94 and when she went to the hospital they said it was all good and much higher. Wish she would have gotten the actual number.

she went to the hospital and they got an xray of her chest...their comment “it looks fairly normal” ...lol no idea what that means. They were concerned with the symptoms and the negative covid test that maybe she got a false negative so they did the test that goes up the nose. I didn’t realize some didn’t but this was the first time for my daughter with that type. They are also concerned it may turn into pneumonia and said the type of bronchial issues she’s having can lead to it so they gave her an inhaler. So I guess we are now just watching and she will continue with the supplements.

Funny thing was the nurse kept saying “you realize even though you had a test already and this is a retest, they will count you as a new case”. The nurse also was lowering her mask constantly and clearly felt comfortable enough to say it was all a big farce. Literally was saying that in the room. Couldn’t believe it when my daughter told me. I have no issue with her saying it, just the fact she was voicing her own opinions

Ordinary viral bronchitis can do this. If she is wheezins they should put her on prednisone, and maybe Zithromax just in case.

Does she have a fever?

The good news...covid patients often have abnormal x rays before people are sick....and usually there is a fever and other symptoms.

So if her x tay is ok, no problem...retest in 2 to5 days if she remains sick.

she did have a fever but has gone away. Today she out of the blue couldn’t breathe for a minute or so ...was majorly wheezing so I guess she used her inhaler when that happened. If it happens again I am going to have her do teledoc and see if they will prescribe what you suggested.
