Why are polls necessary? To sell products. In this case, President. The party who buys it, benefits from it. The media profits by the number of BS stories they generate. I believe the intention is to push people one way or the other. Ansd far as cell phone calls go, I was quoting Maria Bartiromo on Fox. She is reliable. As far as “scientific” polls, go, I doubt there can be a whole lot of science in them when you know most people won’t answer polls, or even accept a number that is not identified. I know I won’t.
Also, I read that the collectors of data often take Uber or cabs to different areas and randomly ask people off of the streets that coincide with their cab destination. Polls? Don’t believe them. They are worthless at best. Dangerous at the worst when used to shape opinion rather than trying to find out the leanings of the average folks. However, the pollsters make a good living...

You’ll have to find it on my twit feed from this morning. I think it was the Milwaukee paper.

After the Russian collusion hoax, the impeachment hoax, and everything in between, corporate media has lost a lot of credibility. Americans have recently watched MSNBCs Ali Velshi tell viewers the Minneapolis riots were not generally speaking unruly as an out-of-control fire raged in the background. They saw the Washington governor and Seattle mayor condone an autonomous zone set up by anarchists in the heart of the states largest city, and theyve witnessed the toppling of statues of great Americans throughout the country. The American Press went full Baghdad Bob the last few months. What little credibility they had is gone...

Notably, participants were asked if they were comfortable with your relatives, friends, and coworkers knowing how you vote. Only 29 percent of Trump voters said yes, versus 82 percent of Biden voters. This shy vote phenomenon was one of the reasons polls were so wrong in 2016. Many pro-Trumpers, wanting to avoid stigma, simply wont tell a colleague or even a pollster whom they plan to vote for. Fifty-two percent of those surveyed believe Trump will be reelected. While 4 percent of Trump supporters indicated their vote could change by Election Day, 12 percent of Biden backers said they could change their minds.
