I have said before I admire your patriotism. I still do.

Let me try and put this in better perspective for you.

One of things required of me and my fellow military officers was mandatory military professional education, which grew in complexity as you rose through the ranks.

In one particular course, we learned that a "Yes Man" to a leader was often far, far worse than the enemy itself.

A case in point is General Joseph Beppo Schmid, who served as the intelligence chief to Hermann Göring during the Battle of Britain.

Schmid was a "Yes Man" who told Göring exactly what he wanted to hear, instead of the actual situation.

Göring, whose ego was as bloated as his appetites, ate up whatever Schmid told him with relish. Schmid constantly fed Göring reports that the RAF was on its knees, that its airfields were out of action, and that its radar stations were damaged beyond repair.

"Yes men" are not what we need in the current course of nation.

Moreover, puttering on like school girls about who is "in" on a thread before the next is not "fighting" either.

In the past few months, the Deep State sure has got its licks in, hasn't it? I would say that if I were evaluating their Battle Plan, they have scored a series of overwhelming victories.

The economy has been devastated, our First Amendment rights have been shredded, and petty tin pot governor dictators can rule us at will with their "Executive Orders" -- all for our own good, you see.

In the early days of the mask insanity, I saw little children and old folks with breathing difficulty resist and complain about the slave masks.

Go into a store, or a place where they are muzzled. Their eyes are dead. They are resolved to their fate, because no one stood up for them.

Good on ya, SkyPilot. I totally get what you are saying. I am hopeful that the president will kick things into gear, but I fear you are correct that he is worried about how corona reflects on him. It’s so much easier to enact executive orders like Obama with a fawning media, but Trump should take a page from his book. Even after judicial contempt citations, Obama would refuse to back down and just ignore them. Trump can, and should, do the same.

I wish he would. I feel like I am behind a glass door, watching as two cars full of children are about to collide, and I can't stop them. Only see them.

I sometimes listen to pastor Farag. He's a very sincere and passionate man of God. He was born in Lebanon, to an Egyptian father and a Palestinian mother (although Farag will tell you there is no such thing as "Palestinian" and I agree).

I was quite shocked yesterday afternoon to have stumbled across his sermon on YouTube - found it in my "recommended" list. He began by saying some the exact things I had been posting, contemplating, and praying about.

He said that this past 4th of July, he felt it was the saddest 4th in his entire lifetime. To him, it felt like a memorial service for someone who passed away. I felt exactly the same way this 4th.

Not only is our nation dying, but the world is dying. President Trump has done many courageous, brilliant, and great things. No president in US history has been so reviled by the corrupt media, by traitor in our midst, and by evil globalists.

But things seem to be on a path where even he won't turn the ship around. I don't know when the events described in the Scripture (Daniel, Isaiah, Revelation) will take place. One year, 10 years, 100 years? But they will take place. To me, it seems we are on the doorstep.
