“Our section of Vermont [NEK], has the most dense population of black bear, of any state.”

I did not know that. Is it a natural phenomenon, or something the leftwads wrought?

To: technically right

As much as I want citizens able to protect themselves, I cannot fathom owning a gun without being trained how to handle it safely.

I would violently oppose any new laws making training mandatory. But, I do think that gun sellers are missing a unique niche. It’s obvious that the anti-gunners are buying guns. Why not market directly to that population?

We know who they are and a campaign presented to them as an *educational experience* extravaganza could be quite effective. Slide firearms training into attractively packaged self-defense courses.

Once the gun grabbers have actually used the guns properly, especially in a group setting, I suspect a good percentage will get a lot smarter about 2A.

Most of us know that shooting can be a fun source of recreational activity. I always found that it’s good for my stress levels.

I’m wondering if it would be easier/quicker/cheaper to buy a complete lower and upper instead of a fully assembled weapon?

BTW. Only the lower has to be shipped to an FFL. Cause it has the serial number. Or something.

Naturally occurring.; it’s especially wild here; lots of nice places to winter over; forage in the summer.

We were out riding back roads last night, scouting; separately saw 2 huge black adults; and a youngster about the size of a German Shepherd; chowing down on whatever.

I buy complete lowers when i can find them. I order my uppers from Stag Arms mostly...but there are many out there. I like HBar configuration...22 to 26 inches with A2 sights.

Oh shorter the barrel than this you want a 1:7 or 1:8 twist. Most ammo is 64 gr. It will work better for you

Thanks.

He's pleased to hear that Vermonters are not supposed to put food scraps in their trash, but to compost.

https://www.mychamplainvalley.com/news/increased-bear-sightings-as-vermont-starts-composting/

I predict this stoopid rule will eventually lead to bears losing their hibernation instinct.

That is, *if* Vermonters follow the law. Humph!

Why would they need to hibernate, if there is food available year round? Yummmmmmm!

He looks like a good guy. I’m worried about what he said about opioids, though.

It seems like the powers that be think the solution to some people overdosing is to deny all effective pain control to veterans.
