I took your suggestion and ran with it. Went to the contact page for both my Senators and my Congressman. Filled out the form with the following:
Please author/sponsor this bill and make it law: Any person who while protesting engages in rioting, looting, property damage, or assault -— acts which are not protected speech -— and are subsequently arrested and convicted of those acts shall be disqualified and ineligible for federal student loan programs of any kind.
Made screen shots of all contacts and posted them to my Facebook page -— encouraging others to do the same with their representatives.
Voice by voice, contact by contact, it takes a LOT of the same thing hitting their mailbox to wake them up -— so feel free to copy/paste or use your own words to contact YOUR representatives now, too!!!
If a 'professor' is arrested for violence, (and found guilty) the school where he/she/it teaches should be denied federal aid (for as long as the felon stays on staff)
Yes! And all future government aid of any kind. ... and no mercy from police on speeding tickets or any other motor vehicle infraction.
Rioters should be arrested and exiled for the rest of their hate-filled, violent lives. Seriously.
