We’ve had a long history of successful businessmen who were jackasses in this town. A major reason why Pittsburgh has been totally Democrat for 70+ years IMHO. When I was a kid I had relatives that would sit around the kitchen table drinking and cursing Andrew Carnegie six decades after he had died. As the employer of various members of the family he actually was THAT big of a jackass that people just never let it go.

I actually came up with the phrase “Wood is Good” back in college. Never thought to copyright the phrase. Now, I see it on bumper stickers.
