The NFL gave him millions for an out of court settlement.

“ The NFL may want him on the field for the optics of it, but CK has been out of the league all this time because there’s no upside for any individual team to sign him.”

Some team will sign him. Maybe the Seahawks. It will be interesting to see if opposing team’s defensive players will put the wood to him or will they take a knee for him. I’m guessing the opposition will take a knee. We shall see...

It would be interesting to know who/what has been funneling how much to Kaepernick over the years.

Someone should ask him. On the record.

Why not make Colin Kaepernick the new NFL Commissioner?

Bingo! We have a winner. The NFL needs to shut up or publicly make him the offer even if he doesn't accept it.

And has Kaepernick paid federal income tax on all of it...

And there’s California. Has K been rippin off the state treasury?

Inquiring minds want to know.

I thought last time he had a tryout scheduled he showed up late ticking off the scouts (and then gave a lackluster performance). Who would want this guy?

Good

Kap is washed up, defenses figured out his act.
If defenders pull the ole and let Kap run past them, Fans will know.
If pass rushers give up, Fans will know.
If DB’s miss cover assignments, fans will know.

Either way, hiring Kap hurts the TEAM and the NFL

Gambling is the only thing that keeps the NFL afloat. Otherwise, it would be on death’s door. If people looked elsewhere for their “entertainment dollar,” the NFL would be as successful as Walter Mondale running for president. What I will never understand is why fans want to touch athletes after scoring a TD? I saw a clip once where a fan was mocked to no end because after grabbing a player’s butt following a TD. People will celebrate a team’s championship parade and even try to touch a player; yet those same people sleep in during a Memorial Day or Veterans’ Day Parade.

The streets of America have been filled with useful idiots posing as peaceful protestors. Protestors that are rapidly eroding the very freedoms that allow them to protest.

The NFL stadiums will be filled with useful idiots (fans) posing as citizens merely out for a few hours of entertainment. These fans pay big bucks for the privilege of watching filthy rich athletes disgrace the flag of the United States of America and everything it represents. Drew Brees got it right the first time, but he folded like a cheap tent in a hurricane on St. Charles Avenue.

There is a major difference between the protestors and the fans. The protestors want instant change and control over American society. The fans are content to watch the slow erosion of American ideals that made our country the greatest that mankind has ever developed.

I know now in June that I will not be watching any NFL games in August if they have a season. My time will be spent doing something else. If the college athletes do the kneeling slur to our flag, then i will not be watching them either. I refuse to reward bad behavior because it spawns more bad behavior.

There is a war going on in America, and it isn’t between Democrats and Republicans, nor black versus white, nor pro-life versus pro-choice (aka murder), nor straights versus homosexuals, nor conservative versus liberals. It a a war of good versus evil.

Every team should sign him for one game and then the NFL raffle him off to see which team uses him for the super bowl. I won’t be watching, but someone might.

IOW, some perfectly serviceable WR or OL who deserves a place on a roster is gonna get cut so that some team can play the chump and carry three QB's on their roster.

Not that it matters, though, and least Not For Long...

So true!

5 days of Karen’s and co-workers who drone on about 0bama and I am ready for 2 days of rest to re-charge.

Do not need a bunch of fools to kneel during the anthem and throw their personal politics in my face

I no longer miss the NFL. Haven’t watched a game in two years.
It is not a game anymore. It is just another stinking racial issue.

If people would just stop watching the NFL it would make a huge statement.

He might as well bring back the 2-14 loser. Most decent people are never coming back either way.
