I’ve been a member of nextdoor for many years and have NEVER seen an exchange that was racist. There are some real jackwagons on there, but I have yet to find a racist. This e-mail was nothing but virtue signaling and was extremely offensive to the nextdoor community.
I immediately quit after I received that crap.

AKA The American Gestapo. Attempting to control the conversation and overlook the business of “the Unwoke”. I fear these the most. They are the ones that kill with “concern” and take pride in “helping people SEE the light” no matter how long it takes. They’ve got time. That’s what they’re here for: to direct us to our New World “home”.

I’ve found the only real use for NextDoor is for pet lost and found issues.
Most of the time people are being paranoid or just need to vent. “Did anyone hear that?!!!” “What’s that smell?” “Dog pooped in my yard.”
A bunch of 3rd graders. NextDoor made me realize that the neighbors around me were a cluster of juvenile morons.

Next door helped me reunite a lost dog with it’s owner. About the only time I used it. Actually, my daughter enabled that, not me.
Rescuing lost pets and selling people’s junk is all it’s good for. I had to delete it.

agree. I felt good about the dog though. He wasn’t far from home and was a good pupper.
Most of the time they’re illiterate numbskulls unable to write an intelligible sentence. Then there’s the neighborhood busy-body who has to post every time a cop car pulls up to the local Wal-Mart (constantly), crowding the newest posts out and making it impossible to read or find anything relevant.
