Why it matters: Today's vote gives Graham sweeping authority to subpoena documents and more than 50 individuals related to the Russia investigation, including former FBI director James Comey, former CIA director John Brennan and former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper.
Yes, I know people will show up to complain bitterly that "nothing's gonna happen" but they're wrong. :)

Good for show. Likely not any DC creature will do anything to uphold any actual law, especially against DCians. Only USAians working in DC and everywhere are subject of law enforcement, whereby DC enforces non-law upon We-The-People.

I’ve read out on the internet several times now, that it’s customary to indict/convict the lower level and then use it to demonstrate to the court that Obama/Hillary level had countless relationships, often in positions of authority, over people convicted of felony (in this case, treason).
It is a safer means of getting a conviction of the upper level if you shop up at their trial with convictions of those whom they directed.
