They have also turned into after school care- kiddos are running around without supervision. If you shush them, you are a supervillan. I love to read, but almost never go to our library any more.
This is just like the coronavirus emails. I got one from every association I have ever dealt with. Bagel shops, home security, car insurance.
I received a BLM type email yesterday. I have an illness and am on a mailing list. It was about racism and the like. Complete bandwagon jumping.
Do the BLM parents take their kids to draq queen story hour and if not why not?
Are they going to go back to interrupting peoples meals in restaurants, insulting and harassing customers?
Some people don’t read a lot, and don’t actually go to libraries for books. Libraries have become politically correct centers, dispensing privileges to the no-book crowd.
They have to. BLM = “non-racist” - but if you read their page to see what it actually stands for (who does these things?), you’d see conservatives cannot agree to side with the BLM movement.
This would include actual Bible-believing religions - they can’t side with them either. Of course, we’ve long known that one can’t be a follower of Christ and be a liberal too.
Having said that, watch your own public posts where you are traceable. They’re coming for us because if we don’t side with BLM, we will be considered racist, lose our jobs, lose our reputations ... lose a lot.
