Sorry for living up to my FR name, but the theory of relativity applies here. You really can’t do your ABC and get an accurate result.
If you live in a large urban area, spent more than 2 hours in a plane in the last five months, use public transportation to get somewhere (even elevators), and/or are over 67 years old, then C with 96 or so percent probability.
If none of those apply to you, like living on home with over 1/2 an acre of land, have your own vehicle, and washed your hands like your supposed to (even BEFORE the damn virus), then A.
I was in the latter case, but within 20 miles of an urban setting hard hit. On the very first day I started working from home, my 17 year old kid was stumbling through the house early one morning, hands reached out to find walls, chairs, anything to guide her because she was sobbing “I can’t see, I can’t see!”. No joking. Got her to a recliner and horizontal, calmed her down. Got her water, after about 15 minutes she started getting her eyesight back. Checked pulse, blood pressure, later on temperature. Nothing abnormal.
I know what I saw, the kid wasn’t pulling a prank or anything and no other illnesses to describe that - ever. I also knew at the time she was in the chair that there could be a sudden drawdown of blood oxygen due to this virus, and that would cause an immediate effect.
And don’t even get me started on the “online app” doctor that hung up on me when I tried calling them to see if this might have been COVID related...
D. It’s totally real, but rage against the patriarchal systems of racist oppression immunizes you against it!
Scamdemic - Plannedemic
A - the chinese virus was/is real but it has proven to be no more a threat to human health than is a seasonal flu and does not justify the continuing overreactions by the governors (lockdowns) and “The Experts” (ineffective anti-social distancing; dehumanizing anti-social mask-wearing).
It’s D) Somewhere in between
I’m friends with too many doctors and nurses to know this isn’t a hoax. And that includes personnel in three different countries.
That said, I think bad assumptions have been made and it’s clearly not as deadly to the larger population who are generally healthy.
Wearing a mask is a trivial inconvenience. I can’t think of a rational argument for not wearing one other than to make a point. Just do it. Too much is not known about how this does or does not spread.
All that said, time to open up and at a faster pace. We have the testing capacity now. My son is going to be tested and he is asymptomatic. You can get a test if you want.
If you’re elderly or with an underlying condition - continue to isolate as best you can. Don’t go out. Let other people help you (I’ve been shopping for an elderly Aunt for 3 months) It can be done. But now it’s time to open.
C, but we will now never be able to separate end-of- “lockdown” spikes in the various states from spikes caused by the protesting and rioting. We were just started to see the end-of-lockdown spikes when the riots started.
Here are the two things I believe: the virus was engineered, and the Floyd death was staged. I don’t know whether the two were related. But both show that our human “ingenuity” is our downfall.
Slightly below A.
It was serious, and some precaution was prudent while we figured out what we were dealing with.
Beyond absurd to keep pretending it is a catastrophic event any longer though.

And by all means be sure to show your absolute fear and keep that mask. It is after all the remaining symbol of the tyrants edicts.
D. Other. Covid was/is a real threat for which we did not prepare or combat properly. That said, hopefully we learned something from this other than whi the special groups are. (and we don’t know the fallout virus fallout from the protests yet).
A x100
Actual deaths are a fraction of what has been breathlessly reported. The American people were scammed and some of us (who could see through the fear propaganda) knew it from essentially Day 1.
None of the above.
It’s a bad virus AND it was overblown.
There won’t be a vaccine.
It will be back, and hopefully it will mutate and be weakened.

D. Not a “huge” threat. It’s not Ebola/Marburg or the Spanish Flu. Not even close. But it’s a bit more serious than the usual “bad” flu, especially for a lot of seniors and people in poor physical shape. The initial “social distancing” and basic commonsense flu season precautions were warranted. The nazi lockdowns were completely unnecessary BS. There was NO need to completely hobble the US economy over this. And now it turns out, asymptomatic people are not actually spreading the CCP Chest Cold after all. Even Brazil is following the same trajectory as everywhere else, just several weeks behind and just past their “peak”. It’s petering out just like a bad flu.
Both have been used by the Left to scare and control people in an attempt to convert the country (and the world) to a secular global community and socialism.
Both are scams or hoaxes. That's not to say that the climate doesn't change or that there wasn't a virus, but the way the Left looks at these things as opportunities not to be wasted, they're right out of the democRAT playbook for their wet dream of a socialist revolution.
The BLM and Antifa looting, rioting and burning the democRAT-controlled cities down is all part of their agenda to turn the country into a socialist-based big government operation, as well.
The added bonus is to try and get rid of Trump at the same time.
So to answer your poll, my answer in definitely "A".
A. “Still dont know anyone who has it, or know anyone who has it.”
We know 4 that have had it. No deaths, one case was bad, hospitalized.
All have recovered. The oldest person we know that had it (70ish) said it was very light. She’s back at the gym.
“Wearing a mask is a trivial inconvenience. I cant think of a rational argument for not wearing one other than to make a point. Just do it. Too much is not known about how this does or does not spread.”
Eff that. I will wear one for a few minutes in a place of biz that requires it. Other than that, no way. Very few require it where I am, luckily.
Lets see,if it was just the virus who knows, but look, first
It was The President is a Russian agent, spy! Then he made a phone call to UkraineIMPEACH! HE is the first President to hold China to account for stealing our jobs, our intellectual property and pow! A virus from China!
In that case I have to say,put it all together the virus was an intentional attack in my opinion.
I call her The Goddaughter (Apologies to Mario Puzo). My wife’s name is Nan and she does not deserve to be linked with that drunken old bag who occupies the House Speaker slot.
That’s what I’m suggesting. I don’t wear one outdoors. Here you’re only required to wear one to shop indoors. Not a big deal. I’d rather shop and get what I want rather than make a stink about something I’ll toss on the seat of my car 10 minutes later.
Not a big deal.
