Yup. Both St. Justin’s school and parish are gone now. First girl I dated in high-school was from St. Justin’s. He lived on an absolute goat path climbing down the face of Mt. Washington.

I remember Bert Jones with Roger Carr, one of the fasted wide receivers at the time, and hands like sticky paper. He’d outrun coverages really deep, and jones could still hit him. But if you played deep enough to cover that, he’d be wide open for mid-range passes, which jones could rifle in like a shot.

Once he got injured in 1977, he lost a step, and with Jones nursing his bad shoulder, it was never really the same.

And the owner wasn’t spending money for good players, because he wanted to leave anyway.

When he was good, he was “Hall of Fame” good. But the injuries took their toll.

Bellichick still won more games in Cleveland than any of Browns coaches since he was there.

To his deathbed, Shula probably still wondered if he should have started Unitas in SB III.

I know he made darn sure Griese was ready to replace Morrall before SB VII.

From the time that Romo fumbled on the three yard line going in for a TD in a playoff against the Seahawks, Tony put down his trade mark, gag and puken blood, a true choker.

I remember when he fumbled the snap as the placeholder for what would have been a Game-Winning FG against the Seahawks in the playoffs.

Ugh is right. Was there EVER a quarterback who was better off after getting traded to the Rams?

He is wearing #17 there because #7 had been retired for Bob Waterford. Alex, I’ll take Football Trivia for $1000.

As a “choker” he led more 4th Q comebacks than Staubach or Aikman.

Romo has never won, nor even played in a Super Bowl.

Hell, the choker, has never even played in a conference Championship.

Yeah, he was an average pro QB, but he was never as good as his press.

Didn't both Roger and Troy play in and win a coupla Super Bowls?

Please stop with the 4th quarter comeback awards.

Like I say, he led more fourth quarter comebacks, which is THE measure of “choker” than anyone else.

Try putting Tony on the 1991-1995 teams, or on Staubach’s teams. More importantly, give him Jimmy Johnson or Tom Landry.

He’d have 4-5 Super Bowls.
