But he didn't advocate anything - he just said HE was taking it - didn't tell anyone else to take it.
I would if it was me.

And the folks with rheumatoid arthritis.
And the folks deployed overseas to a malaria area.
Why don’t they go on about these folks taking it; normally they aren’t in hospital !
Sigh. I just went through this on Twitter. CDC/FDA are taking a politically motivated stance & the information on 1st responders & health care workers using the drug w/zinc as prophylaxis are being buried.

The “fact check” thing is so asinine. I took this crisis very seriously in month one and all it is now is a clown show.
But he didn’t advocate anything -
Whatever....you get my point right?
From the article:
“When asked about the President’s comments, Hernandez said that prior to these trials “there were likely health care workers before that were taking hydroxychloroquine.””
So the answer is, Yes, Trump was telling the truth.
There are trials where they are taking it, there are reports from around the world of health care workers taking it, and in this country, there are reports of health care workers taking it.
Does that mean they should take it? Nope. It doesn’t say one way or another. Trump has never said that health care workers SHOULD be taking it.
