Now that’s interesting. I wonder why they said “elected to”, and not “eligible for”. I guess they were just a little careless there.

I can’t think of anyone that tags all your listed prerequisites. Anyone in mind?
I still think Hillary might be it....but only if they can get ‘national mail-by-vote’, because then it’d be a shoe-in for her due to massive vote fraud.
Of course it is possible. It is not even a sure thing that the USSC could declare it unConstitutinal. The writers of the Amendment did not envision such a scenario and did not including wording explicitly forbidding it.
"But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States."
The 12th amendment was ratified in 1804.
