Trumps recent directive on space resources means, if a U.S. company gets to the lunar ice first, and claims this resource, more valuable than gold on the moon, they get to keep and market it, and the U.S. will protect them.

It’s amazing how we’re only now catching up to that 1950’s series, “Men into Space”.
The show had a conventional-enough looking rocket sticking a landing on the Moon standing on its tail. Laughable-looking by Apollo, and now a reality exhibited by private rocketry.
The show also had McCauley searching “caves” on the Moon for water ice.

This might be the mission my son interviewed for. It was something to do with back side of the moon exploration. He interviewed for two satellite missions and got the other job.

I just watched the Apollo 13 re-entry of 1970. It was truly amazing. Securing the capsule and crew was a much more difficult task than it seems from the re-entry,the helicopter skill and the amazing divers.
I do want to see the flag and I have always wondered why nothing has been able to get close enough for a good pic. I read it fell over or maybe that was a movie lol.
