They are a good handgun. I have had a few, Russian, Bulgarian, Chinese. I sold them all. Hard to justify when a Glock 19 is the same weight with almost twice the capacity where each round has almost twice the power. The Makarovs are accurate as well. You can get used to the heel magazine release, if you practice. Here is
an aftermarket design grip to change the mag release.
