I started with the outdoor shoes in January or February when I saw videos of the CCP spraying down streets.

The friends who we adopted this practice from are from Central America.
I thought it was interesting, at the time...and, made sense.
When we visit family in NYC, we ALWAYS remove our shoes and leave just inside the door, on a special mat they have. They also have the 6’ area taped off, where only bare feet or clean slippers can be worn, past.
Every INCH of NYC sidewalks are covered in filthy germs (poop, etc.). So are the elevators.
Here at home, I spray our ‘hot’ zone, by the door, with 70% alcohol, throughout the day. It gets bleach mopped 1/day.
Hot zone...even though it’s just us (most days) and we don’t go anywhere except our backyard. But....what the heck.
Yeah...you never know, with those dastardly ChiCom photo ops.

pretty much I have a sit down station prior to the bedroom in which I leave the shoes and deposit the socks into an airtight bin. I then have to do a quick lysol diluted with apple cider vinegar wash with zinc tablets to make sure it’s good, before bed.
What if....you moved your ‘sit down station’ to just inside the outside door?

Keeping your outside shoes outside is really a very smart idea, no matter where you live.
I have friends from many different countries and they all seem to do this. Now I do it too.

what makes me so angry at the MSM is, this was an AP newswire release. So this article would be read by someone in the newsroom - at the very least the stock market people. It would have been a good story bragging on Cedars-Sinai and should have been carried by the MSM the same or following day. Or even asked about during the following day’s presser. But no...fill up the headlines with people afraid of the sunlight. grrrrrr….
