I got more. Married with children. I am thankful to be working, and that money is going into savings.
I also don’t feel bad about getting it even though I am employed. The Fedgov will get their pound of flesh from me. I would prefer not to have it, and this horrible pork of a bill to have failed miserably.

The thought process is that to stimulate the economy we can either leave it up to individuals or to government to spend.
The other option is to drastically reduce government spending and radically cut taxes to the bone.
I wish it were the latter.

This is rich coming from a website where everybody complained they were subsidizing my tax deductions a couple years ago. All the while claiming their own tax deductions. Bragging about getting their checks that I will subsidize with my taxes. But I don’t mind you guys enjoy your government checks.

IDK. There is a pre-deposit notice on my account the Sunday before my Wednesday SS drops. This was the same type of notice, so... at least I knew on Monday it would be available on Wednesday...

I thought the big liberal story was that there would be a delay due to Trump insisting on his signature. (The article even admits that those in the Treasury say the physical checks will still go out on schedule.) Thank you fellow tax payers, and you’re welcome, I guess, to those who have received theirs.
I should probably donate mine to Trump’s campaign. I am still able to work.

Are you sure that that link is to check for the stimulus check status? I thought that it was just to check for tax refunds?

I sent the Feds, just today...more money than I made in a whole year...15 years ago.
They and the state want 43%..of every dollar I make. And that's just Cap Gains...not to mention all the other taxes...
