The basis for my original comments on this thread were that the azythromycin (or doxycyline) were included in the drug regimen for their effect on the inflammation and fluid build up in the lungs. This was not a thought that I originated. It was stated by the doctor on the French study, it was stated by multiple doctors on the Laura Ingraham show, it was stated by Dr. Oz. I am not qualified to refute their statements. Perhaps, in your infinite wisdom you are. Frankly I don't care since I place higher regard in what they say than it what you say.
“If you are expecting a rigorous debate, sorry. You win by default. If you are saying doctors do not prescribe z-packs for what amounts to a common cold you lose. Anecdotal evidence is sufficient to refute an absolute.”
What anecdotal evidence? Only thing I see is you making claims of anecdotal evidence.
” Since both my son and daughter along with co-workers and multiple teachers at schools where my wife has taught have been prescribed z-packs for what amounted to the common cold your absolute is readily negated.”
LOL! Teachers are not authorized to prescribe anything but homework.
