Coronavirus and High Blood Pressure: How COVID-19 Affects
If you have high blood pressure, it’s a good idea to take extra care to protect yourself during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Early research shows that people with the condition may be more likely to:
In China, 25% to 50% of people who came to hospitals with coronavirus had high blood pressure or another health condition like cancer, diabetes, or lung disease. In Italy, more than 99% of people who’ve died from the virus had one of these conditions — and 76% of them had high blood pressure.
People with high blood pressure are also slightly more likely to die from coronavirus. Their risk is about 6% higher than the overall population.

Kind of miss this bloviater.
I get his podcast. Very informative and entertaining.
If you test positive, a red “C” will be tattooed on your forehead.
I can tell already in a week or two this whole thing will be over, and by the end of April people will feel like it never happened and the Demenemies will lose their sh— because this terror attack they organized with the Chinese will have been a complete failure. Like the USS Cole, the bomb killed a lot and popped a hole in the side, but the ship didn’t sink. The US economy will rebound, unemployment will go down, and we will still have 6 months left before the election. And you know what the Demenemies are going to do? Try to impeach Trump using the excuse of the coronavirus.
Bill, we all understand that they will take your temperature, but will they rub you down with a loofa?

As far as I’ve heard, asymptomatic yet infected people are just as - if not moreso - contagious as symptomatic ones.
Peak “spreadability” is reported to be ~4 days from infection..and many people do not even show symptoms for 5 or more days.
The temp check will catch “some” cases, but likely a pretty small percentage of the ones that matter.
I like Bill O and watched him for many years, but don’t believe he’s right on this one.
Do they really know? I remember the CDC’s infomercial a few weeks ago about who was most at risk. Hypertension was not even in in the top six mentioned.
I think this is generally where Trump is at with this, and as more and more call publicly for getting back to work, he’ll then get on and lead that boat. Ok Boat is a bad analogy these days.
Fine with me if I can go out to breakfast again.
Bill O’Reilly is generally full of crap.
I would double check EVERYTHING he writes and triple check whatever he says.
Just a quick skim tells me he is wrong about asymptomatic spreading. They shed the same virus as anyone else. They are not “lite” spreaders.
A two second search will tell you that.
High blood pressure? Just yesterday I read living in a democrat state/city was a predisposing factor.
Winner!
Something is being spread.
“When you have covid-19 with zero symptoms you are a minor spreader. You are much less likely to infect someone else. You are helping to develop herd immunity.”
Bill needs to stick to writing checks to former female Fox News staffers.
and he was arrogant and insecure- couldn’t stand his shows whenever he got criticized about anything the day before- He’d have guests on specifically to pat him on the back and tell him how great he is for the whole show- He’d be flat out wrong about something, but would find a couple of people to back him up the next day- heck, he even would draw it out for a week sometimes- his guests would basically coddle him the entire show-
When we first started watching him he was fine- but he grew increasingly more and more insecure- and arrogant acting to compensate- Stopped watching him a long time before he got canned-
That would all be for show.
Asymptomatic means without symptoms, including a fever.
Your temperature can be spot-on and you can still be contagious.
It would reassure people though. And now that they have scanners that can take it from a few feet away a minimal inconvenience.
