Same here.
I know our vet has instituted all kinds of ‘safe practices’....like curb side pick up (they come out and get your pet, if all they need is a booster shot), or calling you when the exam room is ready, delivering meds, etc.....but, it’s just having my little guy in there (he’s really old) and...having to go in there, ourselves....for any exams, etc.
I’m calling them, tomorrow, to see what they say.
“cant see US grocery stores allowing this”
Plexiglas screens have been installed in some store in Austin.
Well, this is certainly an odd coincidence ...
CDC posted Job listings for Quarantine Advisors in November 2019, months before Coronavirus Pandemic

That is a really great video. While all the points made / questions answered can be found multiple places in these threads, that vid does a great job of covering just about everything about COVID-19 in one package. Note the emphasis on everyone wearing masks - a recommendation based on very practical experience.
Yeah, I should probably do the same and see how they are doing things these days.
Well you’re wrong. It’s everywhere in NJ. Even at the Wawa.
Lots of US grocery stores adding plexiglass, between shoppers and cashiers.
Not sure how this SaranWrap divider, in Mexico, does much good.
Yep - they needed advice!
“the flubros may get the last laugh- if they ignore the costs, which they will.”
They will be mocked relentlessly and blamed for as many people dying as have/will.
But in the end they are irrelevant toilet seat lickers.
When This Is Over:
May we never again
Take for granted
A handshake with a stranger
Full shelves at the store
Conversations with neighbors
A crowded theatre
Friday night out
The taste of communion
A routine checkup
The school rush each morning
Coffee with a friend
The stadium roaring
Each deep breath
A boring Tuesday
Life itself.
When this ends,
may we find
that we have become
more like the people
we wanted to be
we hoped to be
and may we stay
that way better
for each other
because of the worst.

to be fair, here’s a nbc clip where nbc would have her in good lighting. Watch her eyebrows as she rambles about her self importance and not needing the President - they go half way to her hairline. Her forehead practically disappears. And yes, they’re still wraparounds ;)
And this is just one example how outside of the times many here are.
Plexiglass went up in every grocery store/convenience store last week in my very affluent area of NJ.
Bras as face masks were three weeks ago. Seems many are still catching up.
Yeah the “fake conservative” original nanny staters do.
And be careful, cos those are the neighbors that are reporting you.
Yeah but the media’s “blame Trump!” meme uses them for all they’re worth.
We have a quarantine program? How long have we had this program and have we been paying quarantine people up to 100K/yr to do quarantine stuff? And why are we paying them up to 100K/yr? This looks like something fun to ask questions about.
I wonder about it’s effectiveness too.
Still a voluntary quarantine has an effect. Don’t know what it is. But it’s ‘free’.
the flubros will be asked for papers just like the rest of us:
I think many here don’t take care of their elderly family members and rather put them into facilities like nursing homes and consider that normal. Those of us who care for our elderly family members in our home, like what is normal to us, have a hard time understanding why conservatives, family values etc. people rely on the government and anyone else to care for their elderly family members as we would.
I think a lot of older people, boomers and those after the boomer generation, put their parents into nursing homes like parents put their kids into daycare.
I would have never put my parents into nursing homes regardless of how wonderful they pretended to be. Nor did I put my kids into daycare. Why would anyone do that? and still pretend to be a conservative?
I think a lot of young people are appalled at how our society just puts our elderly into homes, nursing homes, assisted living facilities.
Why is it ok to send our senior family members to nursing homes/facilities?
I think a lot of older people, boomers and onward, think it’s ok to just put their elderly family members into “homes” and then expect our youth to care.
If I’m gonna die anyway, I’d rather spend my life with those I love.
There are far worse things than death. Every Christian knows that.
