In the legend, what does ‘Brown - Density’ mean? What is the meaning of the color brown? (e.g. Memphis, TN)

Actually it doesn’t. There are metro areas on that map with relatively low populations that are elevated for number of cases.
Sioux City is darker than Des Moines in Iowa. I found that curious.
I know it’s been mentioned before, but ... the 2016 Election map by county. Amazing.

Highly infectious disease will spread easier in denser areas.
It’s just a population density map.
The global map at the Johns Hopkins site may have been helpful in the very beginning but now it is just a useless red blob chart. :-)

I understand that “Density” = “Population Density” ... but all the other colors relate to number of cases, so shouldn’t brown relate to #cases?
