That’s OK. I don’t like to pry. If I don’t get more than a “No, not right now,” I’m pretty much satisfied that the subject is on it’s way to being closed with a bang, so whatever works for you!

Some people are missed more than others, though! ;o]

It’s not too fall-ish here. The nights are starting to cool. When the leaves start to fall we’ll have all new excitement since the puppy really, really, REALLY, likes to scarf up dead leaves.

We think she’ll be around 50 lbs, based on her dame’s and sire’s weights.

Have you signed up for any of the other antisocial media? Fixed it.

Good time for tea.

Thanks! I keep saying I’m only there because so many family members are there, and it seems that as the days go by, I’m there less and less. I check it at least twice a day to give pats on the back or commiserate because there must be close to 70 family members there, but I don’t like hanging out there. It’s not nearly as fun as FR, even though we’ve lost so many peeps to politics here.

I signed up for a couple other social media outlets, but I doubt I’ll spend much time on them at all. Maybe five minutes a week.

I fell asleep on the porch for a while. Then DP decided noon was a good time for a stroll through the marsh. Quite hot.

A stroll. At noon. In a marsh. Unngh.

Dismally Inept Lawn Destruction and Sprinkler Head Decapitation Services is here today. They didn’t come last week because the two men he had helping him defected to someone else for $20 an hour. My own thought was that ICE may have had more to do with it.

At any rate, I’m exhausted, and the bed isn’t quite finished being made. I’m afraid I’m going to fall asleep at the keyboard, or worse, with a crochet hook in my hand and then I could fall face forward into the floor.

I did get the BB SUV’s windshield covered in time, though. Now if I could just convince them the blow out the parking spaces every week instead of waiting until the debris gets packed into it. It’s not safe for old people. Or me.

We went to the beach again. The tide came in, as it does. After supper, some of us will go see the marsh again. Maybe it will be more interesting in the evening at high tide than at noon with low tide.

Tom is drinking beer and reading “Structural Geology.” He could fall asleep.

Tom is living the good life. All he needs now is a couple of chicken drumsticks.

Good morning.

I hope your marsh visit was enjoyable and more interesting.

Did Tom fall asleep drinking his beer? I’ve done that, but not in recent history. ;o]

The pills are sorted, the list for Walmart is made and I have to make the tea, then take the trash out and remove the cover from the windshield. The windshield needs to be washed, too.

Tom finished the beer, finished the chapter, and went on the marsh walk
It was pleasant, but there wasn’t much wildlife.

Later, he and Vlad soundly defeated me at Scrabble. It was okay, though. I made “hyena.”

Cloudy and breezy this morning. No sign of Frank and Kathleen, the main beach-goers. Tom has school this morning. After that, we had posited a trip to Beaufort, the big town, which has a Tree Walk and other scenery.

We shall see what the weather does. And the people.

The marsh walk might be more productive just at daybreak. Or not.

Hyena is an excellent word! It’s been years since I played Scrabble. I was unbeatable, then, but CFIDS. Now I’m dyslexic at times, and can’t edit my own material, when I used to edit for others. And spelling? HAH!

Last night was unsettled again, but I’ve decided, among other things, that I will set my alarm every day until my body gets back onto the schedule it was on before I went to CO. I also found an article on how to train the brain to stop worrying, and I’m going to try to apply the method to when I wake up and my mind thinks it’s time to go to work.

I’ll be off to Walmart again, soon. The back way, of course. Sharon sent me some texts yesterday, asking about the new church schedule. It’s actually the old church schedule, but they’ve added remote broadcast/streaming to it for those who don’t want to attend in person. It will be later, of course, and someone will have to be notified for the sacrament, but that’s a better idea for shut-ins. There’s a woman here who can only go about three times a year so this will be ideal for her.

Anyway, I was so busy with Sharon’s confusion that I forgot to ask her about the construction on SR-9. The back way uses too much gas.

I do hope you’re taking photos!

When I was doing laundry yesterday, I slipped a note in Chuck’s door slot and later, when he had a few minutes, he sent me a text to tell me he was free.

It is REQUIRED to notify an applicant that their application has been accepted, and that they are on the Wait List. Since it is government housing, and since I have documented everything, the current manager cannot retaliate.

The office is not closed due to COVID, so the lack of response is most likely due to bad management. So, I will make a phone call today or tomorrow and follow it up with a letter that documents the dates and times of the calls, and leave the rest up to the housing gods.

Well, good morning and Happy Tuesday.

The puppy celebrated her fifth month of life by whining at 4:10 - about an hour and a half early for her. I came out to find she’d had an accident. At least she hadn’t stepped in it. So I let her out to clean up and she had a few more. Apparently something got into her system. It was after 5 before we got everything cleaned up enough for Mrs. ArGee to go back to bed so I just showered.

The rug messes still need some work. She had to go out again and showed she’s still not over whatever is wrong so no food for her for a while.

It’s going to be a fun day.
