The laundry is done and waiting for me to hang it up. The laundry room is cold, and I think I forgot to reset the swamp cooler to “High Cool,” from the “Fan Only” setting I use when I’m in there. The table is in direct line with the blast from the cooler and I can’t sit there for 40-90+ minutes and be comfortable.
Anyway, I need to put the flag out.
Good morning. I slept late. Back in a minute with a kitten.
And what a beautiful kitteh it is!!
Good morning.
The clothes are hanging to dry and I think I’m ready to face the day. I think.
The station I “listen” to in the early mornings does a National Anthem by unknowns and the Pledge, usually by very tiny people, and though I hadn’t paid much attention, I noticed this morning, that even with the sound way down, and my attention on the computer, I’ve been able to hear them all. What fun!
I just looked at the calendar and my next appointment at the pain clinic is four weeks from today. My knee is killing me!
I’m very sorry about your knee! It’s getting light here. I should go upstairs and get dressed.
A goose just flew overhead, honking.
I completely forgot about grandson Sam’s birthday on the 12th, and have to get him a card. Since he lives in AR, even if I send the card tomorrow on the way back from Walmart, the chances are good that it won’t get there in time. I hate when I do that! Especially when it comes to grandkids.
My Real Brother’s wife also has a birthday this month, but hers isn’t until the 28th.
Did you hear about that cold snap that is going to hit the Midwest tomorrow? Snow predicted for Longmont, where my Favorite Daughter is, and our temp will go from the estimated 109° today to a high of 69°. I don’t know how long the jet stream will stay in that position, but I need to get a space heater very soon!
I did hear about the expected cold snap. Best of luck to all of you!
I checked AR and they’re not having any of it! LOL! Hot and muggy, just like always. ;o]
It’s supposed to get warmer here over the next few days.
I took Frank and Kathleen to get their hairs cutsed. Next, DP is going to take Pat for a Driving Adventure.
It would seem AR has fairly constant weather in winter and summer, though I’ve only been there once in summer. The rest of the time it was winter, to coincide with James’ birthday and Christmas. Adjusting to four seasons will be interesting.
Seems James, Abbie and Sam didn’t show up and my Favorite Son’s Favorite Wife was ill yesterday, so I got no phone call. I got a text this morning while I was getting ready to go wash clothes saying that I would get a call today. *yawn* I fell asleep last night, waiting for one, so I guess I can do the same thing today!
Well, I hope everyone gets themselves sorted out!
I’m thinking of working on Lego while the Driving Adventure eventuates without me. The other adult’s opportunities for Pat Driving have been limited by Pat’s work schedule, so the coincidence of their both being off today was an obvious bonus. As it were. Neither of them seemed to see it that way, but whatever.
Won’t it be handy when Pat can drive independently of any other adult in the car?
My Favorite Daughter sent me a photo of ash on the ground from the fires in Wyoming and Ft Collins CO, and it seems to have been hot enough to burn pine needles. That’s too close for comfort.
And here’s Ma, wondering why she even went outside, N95 or not.
Predator....
Killya!
Kitteh says you shouldn’t sneak up on him!
Good morning. I slept in.
Still no phone call from the AR Bunch. So I guess the Ma doesn’t count. But that’s OK. I guess they’re waiting for me to move there... ;o]
The wind is kicking up a storm, (no pun intended) so the drive to Walmart won’t be much fun unless I take the back road. I may have to because I hate the construction that’s taking place on SR-9.
The pills have been sorted and I need to revise the pill list again, then wash my face off and then it should be time to head out.
Good luck!
Of all things, I had to replace the black ink cartridge. The Epson website said there was about 3/4 of a cartridge, but the printer itself said it was empty. Now, it’s not printing black at all, new cartridge or not.
It will have to wait for me to get back to Walmart. I’m not going to mess with it. If nothing else, I’ll unplug it and pretend I’m going to junk it like I did its cousin when it wouldn’t print cyan!
Of all things to have happen NOW.
