I realize that POTUS is about as informed as any human being on the planet could be, regarding COVID19. As to the limited possibilities regarding the virus’s origin, I am sympathetic to the conundrum POTUS faces in being straight with the American people and what the implications would be, in a just reveal. China has a reckoning coming, but due to our manufacturing dependence, it will have to wait until repatriation is sufficiently completed. Until then, full speed ahead with the America first Trump doctrine. Bastards!

I’m a Johnny come lately to the threads, thus the redundancy to my post. I read as much as I could, at the home page of the site I linked to, but suffered information overload, and retreated back to FR. I posted to post #1, guessing that what I had was probably already in the thread, but due to my fading, and there being so many posts (over 800 at the time) I elected to dine and dash (post and run) instead of first reading through the entire thread.

I’ve been on so many threads and websites and accounts today, I honestly don’t know where I ran across the link to the websites that I posted, but boy did they draw me in with their great scholarly work. We are so fortunate to have FR and the www to go to, thus avoiding the MSM alphabet news agencies shoveling the same old same old at us.

The problem is, many people will be infected that have yet to show symptoms.
If you wait until they are actually sick to lock things down, it’s way too late. the healthcare system will be overwhelmed at that point and the hospitals will be making decisions on who gets to live or die with the limited equipment.
Exponential rise is not the same as linear and things can quickly get out of hand.
People are just going to have to learn to live again instead of depending on a never ending stream of entertainment to keep them occupied. They have no substance, and no skills to make do. They will have to become independent instead of dependent.
I also think the thing that has scared a LOT of people is confronting their own mortality. That could result in a lot of people getting right with God, and that is what I am praying will happen.
Honestly, is the society and culture in which we have been immersed the last couple decades that worth saving? People have survived worse hardship and privation than what this country is looking at at the moment.
