OK. here's what to take from this report.

1. he, as an adult, had unchecked fever for days, and then high enough to induce delirium. He and his wife needed to be in the ER hours before this.

2. The report said he had the infection AND double pneumonia. The infection, untreated, progressed into pneumonia in both lungs. If he had gotten professional treatment earlier, the progression in to pneumonia likely could have been treated. Progression to pneumonia is likely THE worst thing to let this do to you.

3. The virus doesn't kill you directly, but the pneumonia sure can, IF untreated. The virus does damage to your lungs during its repeated life cycles (cell invasion, reproduction, cell lysis) that progressively cause your body to shed fluid into your lungs while decreasing the available surface area to exchange gasses. You are slowly letting yourself suffocate/ drown in your own lung fluids if you let this progress.

4. the "flu test" finds an H1N1 or sometimes H2N1 virus- true 'influenza', not the Corona virus. Of course it came back negative. But the docs probably listened to his lungs and did not hear the characteristics sounds of pneumonia because it was too early in the disease progression or they were negligent/ in a hurry.

REGARDLESS of your age, if you spike high fever (above 102 for an adult) go to the ER if fever reducers like aspirin and Tylenol (acetaminophen) don't work. spiking high fever is a key sign of a serious viral infection, whether it's corona or other. FYI bacterial infections tend to go to a high fever, stay there, and then 'break' when your body wins the battle. A virus repeatedly induces fever during its life cycle as it goes through its lysis phases repeatedly. If you have a fever that goes up and down, and get higher with every 'up' ... go get professional medical help.

Fever associated with shortness of breath + productive or unproductive cough and chest pain when breathing means you are already late going to the ER.

Let me see, an educated adult who is having fever and other symptoms of the virus decides to self medicate until he has a case of double pneumonia and his life is in jeopardy and has to be hospitalized? Damn right it could happen to anybody that doesn't take their symptoms seriously. What was his wife thinking all that time?

I had pneumonia twice in a twelve month period and neither time did I ignore my symptoms and require hospitalization.

I was at the emergency for St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way, Washington with my son. He was running a 104 degree temperature and coughing like crazy. I talked to them and wanted to know if he was going to be tested for the coronavirus. They said they would only test those who matched the profile they have been given. So, they did not test my son. My son ran a high fever for three more days and went to his clinic. They also did not do a coronavirus test. Now I am getting information that they did not ask for the test kits so they could send them to the CDC. So, how were they determining if people were sick with the virus? How many people slipped through the system and infected others?

Perhaps good health before this, but he’s also an idiot to have such symptoms and not seek medical assistance as soon as it became obvious his lungs were compromised..

Kind of ironic - we know that the Deep State and others use fear as a way to steer and control the people - we had the commie/nuke war threat until the Berlin Wall came down then it wasn’t viable anymore and up pops Globull Warming, which has many in fear that we’re gonna destroy the Earth even as we do less harm than past generations and none of the data actually supports anything but the earth’s climate and Mother Nature do not now, and never did have a “balance” and even if they did, we have no idea of how to maintain one or ‘fix’ things...all our efforts end up causing more harm....the coronavirus scare is no different - the panic-induced knee-jerking will cause more harm than the virus.
Folks who would be up in arms if the government decided to tell them they could not move freely are now begging that same government to lock them, and everyone else, down....I’d wager if, after doing that, the story ‘evolved” they would also go meekly to barb-wire surrounded camps/tent cities because the “latest info” said that’s the only way to stop it.
Even though we know that they use fear to guide and control us, so many can’t see it through the red haze of insane panic....they not only welcome the government controls, they beg for them...

And the fear mongers will try to leverage it...

Reminds me of a saying, by Ben Franklin, that many FReepers, who are now acting insane, used to showcase:

“Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.”
