Chuck is a little overeager to see Bernie become dictator. Then democrats can spread their wings and have some real control.

While the 1st Amendment is not in question, what Schumer did crosses a huge red line - and something needs to be done about it.

I don’t know what, but a censure by the Senate might be a good place to start......

This ain't ancient Rome nor are there priests or mythical gods involved. No TV cameras involved yet if ever but schmucky Chuckie is already trying spin and sidestep it with the old Trump-did-it-too excuse on social media.

Sort of - no TV cameras today but on social media he's trying to spin and minimize with ye olde Trump-did-it-too excuse. We'll see what develops from there.

“Deeply troubled” is a popular phrase in mealy-mouth land. It roughly translates into “we need to say nothing in a way that sounds like we said something”.

Every time I hear some politician or spokesperson being “deeply troubled” I can’t help but think of Joe Lieberman, the undisputed king of the phrase. He was always wrestling with his conscience over something he was deeply troubled with.

Unfortunately his conscience never won a match.

If this was a republican making a statement like that he’d already be arrested or fired or censored or something, and the media would be hounding him 24/7 until it did happen.

If President Trump were accused without evidence of making such a statement the Democrats would already be holding new impeachment hearings.
