Almost. Here’s a video with graphics about treatment for severe cases and more. The link will start the video at the part about treatment. If you haven’t already seen it, you will probably find it to be fascinating, surprising, concise and very clear.

You’re welcome! I found an article with more information about pets and the virus. Maybe the death of Connor’s cat was unrelated to the virus being discussed. Maybe we’ll learn more later on.

It takes several days to culture and classify a bacteria. By the time we knew for sure I would have unable to take antibiotics, being dead and all.

Not incorrect for me, because I had visual evidence my lung infections were bacterial. I don’t like to take antibiotics as a general rule but when you are literally coughing up multi-colored colonies...

This C-19 virus is a different story, the cough it produces is dry. Since my lungs are already a mass of scar tissue from past bouts with pneumonia and Valley Fever (fungal), I’ve taken the precaution of obtaining an oxygen concentrator and making sure it works. It’s not as good as a hospital respirator but maybe it will tide me over if get C-19 or another bacterial infection, so that I can avoid the acute hazards of the hospital itself.
