I wonder if the infected guy, who was on the islands of Maui and Oahu, was a cruise ship, or airline passenger?
I can’t remember which one it was, or if they ever said.
Good news—we have an in-country trip scheduled for mid-April—hopefully we can go, but if not free cancellation would be good if available.
ok. thanks. San Pedro showed up on their 7-day Pacific Coast cruise but I see this one is the Hawaii cruise.
“The other passenger took an airport shuttle between the Port of San Francisco and the Charles M Schultz Sonoma County Airport. Local public health efforts are focused on identifying individuals who were on the same shuttle...
though no current on-board coronavirus cases have been confirmed, a non-zero number of individuals have reported flu-like symptoms...”

unpaid leave? No, sorry, they should be paying them at least the equivalent of their last month. I don’t think the shareholders would object too much if they understand that some of those people might walk forever.
I think that must be the hubaloo in San Antonio - cruise passengers being sick after 2 weeks?
I think he was an airline passenger, and returned to Japan where he and his wife both tested positive. Hawaii quarantined some people, but no one got sick...
They were too busy making dont panic flyers and fight rumors campaigns, to actually WATCH and learn what was going on.
If someone quit 20 years ago they’re still at risk it seems. But yeah, fingers to lips is pretty typical of smoking

Coronavirus patient’s dog is now believed to be the first case of human-to-animal transmission
A coronavirus patient’s pet dog that tested positive for the virus last week is now “likely” the first case of human-to-animal transmission, health authorities said Wednesday. The dog was found to have a low-level infection of the coronavirus after being tested repeatedly for the disease, a spokesperson for Hong Kong’s Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) said in a statement.
That is because they are following the bread crumbs and testing related folks.
A couple of weeks from now the pulmonary sections of big city hospitals will be chocked full of previously unknown cases—and testing will just be an exercise to confirm the obvious.
