I am old enough to remember:

Joe Namath spending one pathetic year in a Rams uniform.

Johnny Unitas spending one sad and awful year in a Chargers uniform.

You are correct. He will regret this.

If even Dak Prescott is supposedly demanding $30 million/year, then Brady, who wants some big $$$ and respect before he goes out, will want much more.

He certainly isn’t hurting for money, but Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers have higher life-time earnings than Brady.

I wonder too if Belichik wants to prove HE was the force behind 6 Super Bowl wins. And that he can win with another QB if needed.

The Raiders make a certain amount of sense for him, as it’s just the sort of gimmick the Silver & Black would do to attract attention to their first Vegas season. Plus, it’s reasonably close to his home base in L.A. And Mark Davis spends money like a drunken sailor (cf. Gruden contract).

OTOH, the Raiders are perennial non-contenders and TB presumably wants to be on a playoff-caliber team.

Yep, Johnny Unitas, Joe Namath, Joe Montana are among those who played out the string with other teams, and things didn’t go well for them.

One of the tough decisions in sports life, is when to retire.

I can recall Willie Mays in his last year with the NY Mets , a shadow of his former greatness. And for some players, the decision is made for them, as no other teams offer them a contract.

Barr to Chicago.. or Tennessee?

Brady would be the big name they need to fill seats.. but that will only last so long as a strategy.

If he can win one with Jameis Winston he'll be engraved into Mount Rushmore as a football god.

I was thinking, I had not heard anyone call them the football Giants in decades, until I read this thread.

Oh, geez, don’t remind me.
Willie Mays in a Mets uniform was painful to watch.

The Titans, who beat the Patriots in the playoffs, can offer a competitive team and Brady's former teammate, ex-linebacker Mike Vrabel, as head coach

If he leaves, I hope it is to go to the Titans.-Tom

Oh come on...Favre was hated for about 3 seasons but he still retired as a Packer. Even Montana left to another team.

I hear that the Colts are interested in Phillip Rivers. Phillip Rivers would probably like to play for the Titans because Phillip and his wife both grew up in Northern Alabama.

OK. So, why do they still say New York Football Giants when it’s been 62 years since they had a Giants baseball team?

Only thing that would make sense is for him to go to a team that has everything except a quarterback.

I don't know who that would be.

Giants aren’t after Brady, they have their QB already. Brady isn’t going to any team that isn’t in contention for a SB.

Don’t we go through this every year, lately?

My bet is that this is the usual bullcrap clickbait nonsense as it’s turned out to be so many times in the past.

And if Brady’s gonna keep playing, it’ll be Pats.

No other team is going to give him the control over issues that the Pats have given him. No other team is going to demand *any* route discipline from receivers, ever.

So, there’s my guess. If Brady’s playing, it’s Pats or nothing.
