Thank goodness. Feeling much better now. I don’t find any cruelty funny.
A bit over the top with the cats. Still, “Cats in the Cradle” has always been my favorite Harry Chapin tune. Maybe because he first played it in concert at my college back in the day.
And the two “Star Wars” videos are a bit “derivative” (as they say now) since the songs themselves were devoted to the movies. The other videos, however...!
I also used to listen to Weird Al on the Dr. Demento show in the ‘70’s. My son is now a Weird Al fan.
My favorite is “Amish paradise”
“Christmas at ground zero” still gives me the creeps when the sirens go off. Memories of duck and cover drills in middle school.
TY for posting. Some of these I’ve not seen.
Most welcome. When I’m looking for music for a new video, he’s always a GOTO place.
For me, the second 3 were clear enough...it was all that led up to the first three. I found the third set the more confusing and wildly disassociated from the rest.
I found the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars more enjoyable.
It felt so strange to realize that after seeing the first of the 3rd set, I felt no urge to see the rest of the set. I went from complete obsession with Star Wars to total indifference. So depressing.

No matter what you think of his politics, you have to agree that Dan Rather can really do excellent interviews, and he interviewed Al at his home, and it was really something.
Al’s a family man, and went through a horrible tragedy, when he lost both of his parents in their sleep to carbon monoxide poisoning in their home. He genuinely came across as a really nice guy.
My favorite quote of his was in reference to his movie “UHF,” “It was just a chance for me to get together with my friends and be goofy.”

I think that my favorites are “Word Crimes” and his parody of the Nirvana “Smells like Teen Spirit.”
In many cases, I really like his videos better than the originals.

Thanks!
