Why not make Jim Jordan speaker? Kevin Mccarthy is a shill for the deep state. Not as bad as Paul Ryan but definitely not on our side.
I would NOT get cocky. The democraps are evil in their intentions and will stop at nothing to win. Get involved, vote, and stay involved!
I’m not complacent, but I think he will win the same states he did in 2016 plus one or two more states (around 320 electoral votes).
I think he will win more votes than he had in 2016 and also the plurality of votes, but not get over 50% of the national popular vote.
I also think he gets about double the black vote he won in 2016, about 15 or 16%.
I think the GOP wins the House with a small majority. I think the GOP keeps the Senate, +/- 1 GOP Senator.
I not nearly as optimistic as others.
“They budged the results in 2018.”
What evidence do you have for that?
$70 billion can buy a lot votes. Bloombergs money is not going to be a pushover for Trump. The only problem with Bloombergs money as nominee is mini Mike is a political albatross around Bloombergs moneys necK.
I have to seriously question a persons intellect if they would vote for someone that has spent billions to get elected to public office. Trump supposedly comes from the billion club but he didnt spend a billion of his own money to become President. Correct me if Im wrong on this but I believe that is correct.
Bloomberg is Solyndra
Throw all the money you want at a crackpot idea...
The House will decide. I like Jordan, but I don’t think he would have the support to be selected. He didn’t even become head of the Freedom Caucus.
I don’t trust McCarthy completely, but he’s been nothing but supportive of the Trump agenda.
I have been saying this for quite some time now:
Trump: 67 million votes
Democrat: 59 million votes
Democrats have the House.
Also, I dont know if youve noticed it but there have seemingly been a number of Republicans announcing that they will not be running again ... which I liken to a soldier walking off the battlefield in the face of the enemy.
Bloomberg and his billionaire cronies bought the house in 2018. I hope Im wrong, but I suspect Bloomberg will have the most delegates coming out of Super Tuesday, 99% of them having nothing to do with mini Mike, only his $500 million investment to date.
It is not good to be complacent.
It is 50-50
Trump is despised by people outside of FR.....it will be close.....we’ll see two months before November
I think high enthusiasm can help with turnout. If we can get 10% of Dems and 55% of Indies Trump will do well. Getting 53%-54% of the Pv is not out of the question.
But yeah. Getting a Nixon/Reagan type of landslide is out of the question in today’s political climate.
Our ace in the hole is that Bernie supporters will never accept Bloomberg and vice-versa.
If a big fissure opens up and keeps that party divided it’s the best thing that could happen for our side.
Indeed. That's why I Tweet President Trump on a weekly basis to hold a couple of rallies in California to energize the "Forgotten Conservatives" to elect down-ticket Congressmen.
Yep, I agree. Too polarized. An inch is as good as a mile but I’d like as least stressful and election night posible for us! :-)
I think Trump will have a clear and unambiguous win. That won’t stop the Dems from freaking out again, though.
Its going to be yuge!
Chrissy Wallace was pooh-poohing that, as you would expect, but it's significant. Also Nevada swings back on forth, and it's time for a swing to the R side. We have practically no representation in the House, and no Senators, and a dem governor. The only ad I've seen is for Susie Lee (D) and it was like "vote for me, I'm not a wacko liberal".
“Democrats have the House.”
Which could be explained by plenty of other things besides “Never Trumpers”, so that really isn’t evidence of anything in and of itself.
“there have seemingly been a number of Republicans announcing that they will not be running again ...”
Yes, that’s why I said that “Never Trumpers” are really only a significant thing in Washington DC. There are plenty of Republican politicians and apparatchiks that are “Never Trumpers”. Republican voters? Not so much.
“Trump is despised by people outside of FR....”
Not really, I mean he is despised by the left but so is every Republican ever. Other than that, he’s pretty darn popular by every measurement I’ve seen.
