This flu is different in that it causes pneumonia, and attacks oxygen generation in the lungs.
Hospitals have to put those flu people on Ventilators.
There is limited number of ventilators in a hospital, so if the flu patients needing them out number the available ventilators, a higher death rate can be expected.- Tom

That graph just changed. Now 7678 cases in China. No flattening of curve whatsoever. Other sources are actually reporting just OVER 7700.

I believe them. The screening process for urging this virus is state of the art. For example.
A patient comes into the clinic:
Patient: Doctor I feel sick.
Chinese Doctor: Oh no. What is wrong?
Patient: I....I think I have the Corona virus.
Chinese Doctor: I see. Well the good news is that can be cured with a simple shot. Please step behind the curtain.
