If there ever is a true cure, it will never make production. The cancer treatment industry is way too big to let that happen.
Interesting theory but a cure would be worth hundreds of billions to whoever comes up with it. That is a lot of incentive. Cancer hits everyone everywhere I don’t see how you could contain an actual cure.
The headline is irresponsible fake news.
This is early stage research.
The media and the researchers shouldn’t be publicizing it until there are successful human trials.
Fascinating work because much of immunotheraputic cancer fighting varies in effect among race. If this can kill any cancer, it would be groundbreaking, but there’s no telling in early stages.

This would never happen unless there was a bigger than usual chance these guys are right. I try to read and understand news regarding cell biology and have seen this article in different forms in the past week.
Disagree. Now that it is known to exist, some company will want to develop it to make tens of billions. We all have cancer cells in our bodies, and inevitably a large percentage of us will need this treatment. Look at it as just another drug - these are being developed all the time, and this won’t stop.

This is what passes for “news” nowadays. But as you pointed out, it isn’t “information” until there are clinical trials with some degree of success.
Yes, the “cancer industry” would rather make profits for a brief time instead of finding a cure, so they and their families can then die of cancer.

The other incentive is to “not die from cancer”.
Actually yes... they would. Huge money in extending and prolonging treatments as long as possible as it slowly kills you. Money to enjoy right now is always more important than life, even their own.
