I have seen videos of trains transporting the blades through Missouri. They are trussed and suspended between cars. Pretty awesome procession.

How do you transport a 575 foot long turbine blade?I've seen these blades transported by truck on the freeways around Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico. One end of the blade is carried on a carrier immediately behind the truck's cab, and the other end is held up by a special carrier at the end of the blade (just a platform containing wheels). The vast central part of the blade just goes along for the ride between the two carriers.
