I don’t know about farmed turkeys, but wild turkeys definitely can fly.
We live in Western North Carolina and occasionally see them flying from one hilltop across a highway to another hilltop, well over 100 feet in the air.

According to Richard Neer in “fm:The Rise And Fall Of Rock Radio” it was at KSAN in San Francisco and involved pigeons that were gotten stoned on weed. They were released from the roof and fell to the street.

Perhaps Jan Smithers left Brolin after discovering & rejecting his true inner core - a radical leftist & adulterer seeking a “Streisand-like” mate.
IIRC, she moved to an isolated area of Canada for awhile to get away from Hollyweird and all of its connections.
