I have never heard of a parent hitting a LGBT child and then that cures them or actually changes them in any way. It doesnt work that way.
Not surprised you think that way though since you are defending bullying in the other thread as a form of free speech. Try to bully a coworker, what do you think will happen? I dont think your employer will care much about your free speech argument.

Who, other than you, in other words no one, has brought up hitting children? Is that what advances your ‘argument ?
And what exactly is an LGBT child other than your own formulation ?

Well, WRONG on a number of points:
I am not defending ‘bullying’, I am defending free speech since the definition of ‘bullying’ and ‘hate speech’ is infinitely elastic. (You would probably consider my post as such, wouldn’t be the least surprised).
As far as employment, If there is credible evidence of one employee harassing or harming another employee that certainly falls under the employer’s policy;
however, nowadays those employer’s policies almost universally adhere to the (your) PC ‘bullying’/ ‘hate’ bullshit.
Go read post #5 a bit more closely. The poster said his son hinted at wanting to be a girl, and he yelled at him and spanked him. So yes, someone here did say they would hit their child for this.
